			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was reading the ingredients on a Starbucks Doubleshot can, and what struck me as curious was how the cream and milk remained unspoiled while being in a can at room temperature. Bridget suggested it might be powdered milk, but I thought it would say that if that were the case.</p>
<p>So she called the 1–800 number on the can, and talked to a guy who answered the question.</p>
<p>Because the can is vacuum packed and milk pasteurized, it can remain unspoiled at room temp.</p>
