And referring to the discussion last night, illegal activity, though related to calculators, is still off-topic, right?

In any case, glad to see everything is coming together.

I would personally like to see it quite clean. But that would be up to the group to decide. Youtube links would be fine, of course. :)

Good point. As you can see... I did that in the latter half of the post, but not the first half. I updated the entire phrasing now. :)

You should replace some or most mentions of "#tcpa" with something like "#tcpa or other channels".

Sounds fair. A few things I think that could be clarified though are:

-What level of profanity is tolerated? Is it the same as ticalc.org comment boards? Is it zero profanity else kick or will the channel tolerate if someone suddently says the F word in some rare occasions?

-I assume Youtube links are fine as long as they're calc-related, right?

Ticalc.org IRC page promotes both #tcpa and #calcs at the moment. I guess it might be good to add #ti as "calc-only discussion" to that list or simply replace #calcs, which is not used much IIRC.

Also remove the Pharmacy website link right above.

I agree, the key factoring and other such efforts really proved that the community is still active.

I wasn't planning on making it the *only* calculator channel, but simply one where the only focus is calculators. So we know when we're sending someone somewhere, they'll get assistance without having to wade through offtopic discussion.

I am planning on announcing this on ticalc at some point, and seeing if we could make this community help a little easier to find.
