You might have noticed the site was down for a few days about a week ago. We had some drive fail­ures that rav­aged the 4-disk hardware-RAID5 data stor­age scheme on the server. So short story: we didn’t have time to recover because of BTS traf­fic and the cost of being down, so it was refor­mat­ted. I lost data posted since May, but that was all recov­ered from RSS feed back­ups. It should be sta­ble now.

On another note: you no longer need to reg­is­ter to leave com­ments, and gra­vatars are now turned on. I’m also gen­er­at­ing and down­load­ing back­ups daily now. :)
