My Love
When first our paths crossed
When we hardly noticed each other
So nervous about the recital we were
Still I noticed you
The tall curly haired girl who played as I did
Despite, we hardly knew each other
When fate paired us in a brain contest
The sugar high boy and the teacher’s daughter
English came and went, and we developed
What may be called more than a passing interest
Before long, high school was here!
We met new people, and had different schedules
But things went wrong, and mistakes came
Tragedy knocked one day
And our lives changed
Comfort was taken in shared knowledge
and excuses were made to talk for hours
finally knowing the other which had
caught their eye for so long
and the intricate dance began
Yet the boy was wayward, looking elsewhere
for what he really had already found
but not net realized
time passed, and the girl was patient
soon a night came what was not soon forgotten
Poorly asked and executed
both were soon excited
for twirling snow and dancers
were lovely, yet were not the highlight
for the two young adults were together at last
Spanish books to v-day candies
they went through it all
finding out what it was like
to be with someone perfect
everything everyone else was not
Education plots lives
and theirs was no exception
Seattle
Pullman
Yet never truly apart
Through it all, the boy and the girl
remained true
and committed to each other
studying in the fall, and working in the summer
They always found time for each other
True love
truly magical
the boy and the girl
perfect for each
Thank you for comforting me when I’m down,
for listening when nobody else understands,
for talking when nobody else can,
for introducing me to your passions,
for being in my life,
for being yourself,
for being my best friend,
for being amazing.

I noticed on Opera’s Speed Dial that Drudge had a fairly large typo. I quickly took a screenshot and when I reloaded the page, it was already corrected. Enjoy. Click on the image if you want to see a larger version.

Law, Societies, and Justice 320: International Human Rights
Law, Societies, and Justice 376: Drugs & Society
Italian 101: Elementary Italian
This schedule is pretty lackluster, if I may say so. I’m not stoked about human rights–I’m only taking it because it’s one of the core classes for LSJ. Italian is a graduation requirement, which also should be pretty lame for an entire year. The only real saving grace (if you can call it that) is Drugs & Society. Hopefully I’ll be able to drop 376 and take a Political Science class about congress instead–we’ll see how that goes when Period 1 registration ends in a month. Sadly PolS 360 (Constitutional Law–Federalism), isn’t being offered this quarter.

Wordpress upgraded from 2.1.2 to 2.5.1, so… I’m playing with new features and stuff.
Ignore me. :)
I’ll also share this image, which someone linked to long ago. It amuses me greatly, and I haven’t the faintest clue why it would. I suspect it’s from 4chan, because I can’t find an author anywhere.

My previous post raised some interesting questions such as: How can a business card turn into a paper airplane? and… Why are you so weird?
So I offer to you proof that this can work, and pictures verifying it. They actually fly pretty well if thrown properly (read, with lots of force). Click on the image to see a larger view.

Vote ChampUW ‘08.
Our Platform:
- Pledge to misappropriate funds for blatant personal use
- Vow to abuse campus-wide email list as often as possible
- Provide inconsistent and confusing “leadership” designed to cause maximum chaos with a minimum of effort
- Will print enormous amounts of business cards for use as a miniature paper airplane air force
- Ensure Mark Emmert is designated as a national historic site.

Referendum Question #1: No! ASUW doesn’t need to bug us with amendments.
Survey Question #1: Yes! We must raise our drunken student ratio on campus.
Remember: You have a choice, and that choice is ChampUW ‘08.
