I’m back from Camp now. More about it when I can think clearly.
Update: Now you may have heard something involving fifth graders and a skit, but I assure you, there is no truth in what other people tell you. They were passed out in the back room at camp, so they are just retelling a vivid and realistic dream that MAY sound real, but really has no truth in it. There, I’m sure someone will believe that, because if I saw that, I wouldn’t.
I’ll be gone all next week due to me being a counselor at Camp Cispus. Yes, that’s right, Nikky has to control a bunch of 5th graders for a week. It’s actually pretty fun, unless they hit their heads on the bed posts and crawl under the bed and start crying. Yeah, that’s not good, especially when you don’t notice them missing. Oh well, so anyway, the last you’ll hear from me is tonight, and then I’ll be back on Friday Afternoon, but unless I really like you, I’ll be cranky. That’s about all.
Update: In my odd mental state the night before camp, I made this in about three minutes, it’s kinda weird.
Yes, it’s May 12th, 20005. Which means it’s my birthday. I’m not going to tell you my age, because that would not be fair. You’ll just have to find that out some other way. I have to admit, I’m apprehensive about this day, since my last birthday was not…the most enjoyable day in my life, putting it rather lightly. I’ll not say more, because if you don’t know what happened, you don’t need to know.
So yes, this is fun sitting here in the School Library using the Lappy. I’m actually kinda enjoying myself, actually. And I managed to secure the use of the boxlight/speaker/dvd/vhs/laptop combo for the next week. Watching movies should be fun. :-)
Minor stuff, I realized that FF wasn’t displaying my correctly, well, nested ones. So I fixed that, it affected the images page. And for images, there is a newsection. I did it messing around with a old Sony 640×480 pixel digital camera. It uses floppies too. Pretty archaic, but it does have a 10X optical zoom, but the zoom is…not very focused. Oh, and the images are supposed to be negatives, duh.
Yes, the week of AP testing has come upon the upperclassmen. How fun is Calc, for instance, that test was not very fun. Or history on Friday, but I’m looking forward to that one. But after this week, no real work for me until next fall. Speaking of work, I saw in the bulletin today a blurb about a job 15-20 hours a week during the summer if you know HTML, and the business is like 5 minutes away. So I went to the career center, and oh, she neglected to mention that you needed to come from a low income family to apply. I’m angry about that, because she even mentioned scripting, and this is just what I like doing. Oh well, I hope nobody applies, so then I can get the job. But after the tests I’ll have more time for myself and will be less cranky. That is it for now.
