You know, this is starting to turn into a blog, but I’ll never admit that, because I don’t like that word.
Anyway, Tracey was discharged from Harborview today, and I’m very happy to hear that, I mean, you don’t know how worried I was about her. That’s all I’m going to say, because I’m sure I’ll be embarrased if I keep saying stuff.
Also, I’ll be gone this week (until friday night) in olympia, so yeah, just letting you know. The only email I’ll check is NIKITAwraith@KHRUSCHEVnssfis.com (Remove the bold letters (which is also nikita khruschev, strangely enough)).

I visited tracey today. I don’t really feel like saying anything else, other than the fact that I don’t know how someone who’s in medical ICU and 40 hours after an accident could look beautiful, but she did, it was her inner beauty that shone through. And the one thing that really touched me was when her mom said that the biggest smiles she had since the addicent were when she told her I was going to visit, and when I was in the room when she woke up. I’m really emotional, so I’d better go.

If I seem a little distracted in the next few days, well, one of my best friends was airlifted to harborview med center 36 hours ago (it’s the major trama center in the pacific northwest). She’s in ICU right now, but will probably be discharged soon (into general ward). So I’ll be visiting as often as I can, even though the drive is about 90+ one way from my house. But then, what do you do when someone you love is seriously injoured? *sighs*
I wish someone told me eariler though, at least I found out though.

As you might notice, you’ll see a “Discuss” on the news items. I just started working on that, and it doesn’t really work right now, just letting you know. It’s really fun since my site is in php, and I’m making the discuss script in perl.

I know it’s been a while, but I’ve been busy with random happenings. The bit of news I have is that I’ll be gone from this upcoming Sunday to the following Friday (Feb. 27th – March 4th). Gone meaning, not at home, or school. I will probably have internet access, and that’s it, but I don’t absolutely know, I’ll find out.

Well, the first term is finally over, and now I have the best schedule ever, just calc ab 1st, ap history 4th, photography 2nd, and library tech assistant 3rd. All those mean, no work, which is good because of soccer coming up, anywho.
What I really am posting this about is that I’m starting like Perl, a lot, it’s more powerful than php, and seems to process on the server faster, even though the mySQL compatibility is iffy at best. So don’t be too surprised if you start seeing new perl additions on this site, especially since I’ll have more time to work on it. Until then…
